Hello! anybody there...aww well who cares as long as i track this sh!t. Anyways I've moved on now from said project. I am now working on a new program up by Conklin Alberta. I haven't been up here for years. couple new things to note.

 

I am getting married this year. That's right tying the knot...filling my boots...risking my house...selling the farm. I am excited for our day which will be at JPL in Jasper on September 6th 09. We are going to have a kicka$$ golf tourney on Saturday night and the wedding will be the next day on Sunday.

 

I got some new wheels...a pretty Kicka$$ brand new 09 Dodge Ram, just put 22's on it with toyo open country's as the boots. check it out in the new gallery. I have to admit I was very sad to sell the Red Dragon. I think I may have a problem getting so attached to material things.

 

we are also getting a Bulldogge...not an english bulldog but a ole english bulldogge, big difference, check out Dexter yourself. He is coming all the way up from Michigan...hope all goes well.

 

Oh and we are big into Fish now. We have a kicka$$ bowfront 90Gallon freshwater aquarium that is currently housing 70 cichlids of all kinds...wait for a video in coming weeks.

In May of this year i was seconded to the Edmonton shop to take care of some business. This provided a rare and great oppurtunity for Ky and I. As you may know Kyla is a teacher so she gets every summer off. awwwwwww...yah i know, anyways as soon as i found out I was going to be staying in edmonton for the summer.  I immediatly started looking for a camper and a nice place to settle down in it. I found this gem http://www.whitemudcreek.com/ I called and booked my camper in...oh bye the way the camper was a story in itself ata steal of a deal with the setup i most desired. Paid cash and then parked it at the Whitemud Golf course. At the same time Kyla called the pro shop to see if there were any summer positions. At first there were none, but then the manager met Kyla in person and immediatly changed her mind. Kyla got a job to keep her busy and...better yet a little drunk...lol.

 

Did i mention this was a nine hole golf course too. Well...it was and man did we golf!! Between BBQ'in awesome tenderloin and tasty tasty shiskabobs made with Jumbo Shrimp and the constant golfing, it was quite the summer. check ou the summer of love gallery. This was during the weekdays...on the weekends we shredded up our local lakes with our constantly improving wakeboard skills. refer to the wakeboarding gallery to see our latest rides. We also spent a few days here and there at the cabin and did a ton of quadding... So all in all i just wanted to recapture my summer in this little blog here so when i'm 80 and bored shitty i can look back through the anuls of time and remind myself of the summer of love!!

 

Well Kyla and i chose to go somewhere else this year besides the Caribbean. We went to Vegas. We went at the end of March and it was fantastic. We ended up staying at the MGM Grand for four nights. The weather was awesome as it only took me 1 day to tan...well burn and then tan. We ate lots, saw some shows like the cirque de sole and gambled a bit. We did the pool thing for two days and since they had a little tubing creek we did that too.  We also went on a helicopter ride, which was pretty cool. The only thing though was we both got so sick we were bed ridden for the remainder of the day. Kyla filled three doggy bags to go...2 on the helicopter and 1 in the shuttle on the way back. I thought i was free and clear, but had to run through the casino and barely missed the toilet. We did some shopping on the last day and cruised the strip in a pretty awesome BMW 650i. It was so awesome i couldn't figure out how to start it, then the black dude who was born on the exact same day and year as me (freaking weird) showed me how to start it...apparently u need to push the brake when you push the start button. We also toured Hart n Huntingtons vegas tattoo parlour in the palms casino and bought some shirts n shit. Anyways it was a total blast and we will definitely head back there soon...check out the pics in the gallery. Later.

 

I have not blogged bloged or blagged in a while! Too freakin busy sledding. The holidays were pretty kickass...went sledding with woolly bear to the mountains, met up with Shaun, Reid, and Mad Mad Madden in McBride BC. After that trip, just spent time around the Paul sledding and relaxing. XmAS was awesome...received a white Chicago Belfour Jersey from Ky! Got spoiled like you wouldn't beleive with sled gear and a new sled cover from Care Bear. Also Had a party at the CABIN for New Years again. LOVE THAT PLACE!! It wasn't as crazy as the last few years, but it was still a blast. Had all my family over plus a few good men. Anyways a pic of my kick ass sled can be seen in the "Mountains of Fun Gallery".

 

We got a new freakin house people. Thattttiiiisa right!! Kyla and i purchased the place in May of this year, but didn't get possesion until June 1st.

 I've posted Pics of the house, it's the album called fore n afters. We remodeled the entire upper floor and then moved our furnishings in.  We did the carpet removal, prep and painting, before the installers came in and completed the flooring throughout the main and the carpet in our bedroom. (cool new earthtone coloured shag). The work you see in the pictures took from Friday till Friday of one week to complete. We had inlaws, sisters and friends all helping prep and paint. It sure freakin looks good! We have all new furnishings, meaning the Cabin is still fully outfitted for BBQin and partyin!! We will be havin a house warmin, so stay tuned cause only losers will not be there and if your not there, well then i guess you're a _____!

Freakin Fuckin awesome!! Back from Jamaica…Yaaa Maaan!!! Kyla and I went again, this time we went to Runaway Bay which is located halfway from Montego to Ochos Rios. The week was good for weather minus a few overcast mornings. The Hotel we stayed at was the Bahia Principe. It’s a brand new 5 star all inclusive. The Food and Service was really good. I would recommend it. Because there were families there, I would have to say I preferred the Sandals Ochos Rios better. Also here at Bahia they expected more tips. I gave away three shirts and a pair of shorts (they love our shit).

One of the downfalls was me getting us near kicked clear off the property due to drunken mischief…ya I kicked over a wet floor sign…booofuckinhooo. Other than that the bug bites were the next downfall, I received two full calves of bites that I’m still itching from…unreal!
